Ways of working up an appetite even if you're not hungry - a quiet aperitif or twenty with a friend or forty 9.5cm x 10cm. Indian ink on drawing card

Here is a group of Iņakis, out for their midday constitutional dozen wines before lunch. Their wine-swigging, American-style macho back-slapping and all-round cigar-puffing loudness are merely bluff; behind the smokescreen of such behaviour, they can secretly indulge in their great loves - dissecting political angst, overcoming feelings of personal inadequacy, and hopes and fears about the future of European unity.

This small group bears more than just a passing resemblance to a larger group I captured in an earlier drawing, Iņakiak iņakitzen.
